Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has received his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) following his victory in the August 15, 2026 governorship election.

Adeleke received the certificate on Wednesday at the INEC office in Osogbo amid cheers and jubilation from members of the Accord Party and his supporters.

The governor, visibly excited by the occasion, broke into a dance as supporters celebrated his return to office.

Shortly after the presentation, Adeleke proceeded to the Ataoja Palace in Osogbo, where he was received by a large crowd of residents.
